Well Sarah Palin looked good last night but was it enough to sway undecided voters? That’s the question of the day.
She was very confident, stood her ground. She brought her down home attitude to the table even winking at the camera a few times.
She was a definite contrast to what you saw in those Katie Couric interviews. She obviously did her homework. Though she seemed to get off subject when Joe Biden asked to note one difference between McCain’s’ strategy and George Bush’s. She couldn’t offer one difference. Saying she "wasn’t going to answer the questions the way her opponent or even the moderator wanted her to". Ouch!
Joe seemed to be a tad shaken, not a lot, that she wasn’t stumbling, but he also held his ground on the topics. I thought he showed great posture when she made the mistake of saying that his current wife’s reward for being a teacher would be in heaven. (Joe’s first wife died in a car crash.) Is it just me or was that just downright stupid. It was heavily overlooked in the press and I heard hardly any mention of the comment. It just points out the arrogance of the conservatives to think they own everything and can say anything that comes to their mind.
Most think it was a draw. Here are the Msnbc-Newsvine.com tallies.
