OBAMA'S SPEECH ON RACE...

and that darn Rev. Jerimiah Wright.

'A more perfect union'

This wasn't just any ordinary speech. Coming from a mixed background It was an important one in my book. He took the race issue head on, ignoring the damage it may do to his campaign, he heavily denounced the remarks by his former Paster, but stopped short of disowning him, saying "I cannot disown him, the same way I can't disown my white Grandmother for remarks she made about black men". He found a way to acknowledge his diverse past and at the same time explain the obstacles that lay ahead of our country on race. This is why Barack Obama should be our next president. Not only is he trying to bring together government, he's striving to bring together our human race.
